Relive jousting weekend at the Robin Hood Festival

Is it really two weeks since The Knights of Nottingham Medieval Jousting display team lit up the Robin Hood Festival arena with their spectacular equestrian shows?

They weren’t the only ones to captivate the large audiences that came along to the reserve on 2nd and 3rd August.

There were also the hilarious Medieval Maniax, re-enactment troupe the Ferrers Household, silly songs from the Bubonic Players, dazzling birds of prey demonstrations Go Active Falconry, madcap mayhem from Bill Brookman, mischief from Simple Tom, clever conjuring from Nathaniel Bagshot, nerve-shredding feats from the Point Blank Danger Show, stories of the outlaws from Jim Munro and the sound of the Middle Ages from de Mowbray’s Musicke and Sloe Gin.

It was a weekend of marvellous moments and memories, captured in this brilliant video made by Dan Lord of Forecast Designs.

Take a couple of minutes to enjoy what was a wonderful weekend in Robin Hood’s forest.
