The Café
It’s hungry work taking on our trails. It’s a good job we have a café that can satisfy the need for something filling at the end (or start) of your Sherwood adventure.
The views from our café are stunning – it’s a great place to kick back and enjoy a cuppa with a slice of cake whilst you drink in the glorious vista of the forest edge.
From delicious sandwiches and soups to sweet pastries and traybakes, our counter offers some tantalising choices.

Fillings include New York Deli and Ham Hock, and there are gluten free and vegan options within the range too.

Our refreshing choice of drinks, including barista coffees, are a delicious way to quench your thirst in the summer or warm you up on the chilliest of days.

Our takeaway cups and lids are supplied by Vegware and CUPkind, and are recyclable and compostable too.
The takeaway cutlery we provide is also sustainable, made from FSC-accredited wood, which is naturally biodegradable.
Tiffin are committed to sustainability, using renewable energy and reducing packaging to create their selection.
Our unique triple-certified coffee is fair trade, organic and bird-friendly®, but, most importantly, delicious.

Dogs in the café
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the café – we even have doggy ice cream! There are plenty of water bowls in the amphitheatre area too to keep your four-legged friends happy.
Please do not allow your dog to sit on the furniture or to eat or drink from the café floor.
Eating out
If you want to venture further out to eat, there are benches in the amphitheatre area and along our main routes. There are also picnic tables beside the play area and by the Major Oak.
Please use the bins provided for any litter. Or, better still, take it home with you and help keep this magical forest as natural and beautiful as possible.
